![]() My argument comes in that people say enemies can be team shot, which holds true, but it's not always plausible that both players are shooting the same enemy at all times. Same drop rates as single player even with 2 people playing. 40% enemy health increase isn't so bad on enemies until 3rd floor and on. Casings (Money) is already scarce enough for 1 player, now imagine 2 players needing something. And it's not even about being a single problem, but every problem could be solved with multiple different solutions, and even putting only one of these solutions in place can help alleviate most of these post-mentioned problems: I can get close to that sometimes but in co-op, you may as well dream. Like I see all these screenshots on Reddit and stuff how people end up with like 10 hearts and 6 armors with multitudes of weapons solo. It really is! I can sit there and melt in single player, but even in co-op the drop rates and money just aren't sufficient for 2 players to have fun like you can solo. Is it just me? Or does anyone else think Co-Op could use some slight restructuring on drop rates? My buddy and I have resorted to doing Blessed runs just to mitigate the chance of never getting drops. It seems to be an issue with damage output since being stuck with starter guns on later floors is awful. I even feel apt to say that enemies having a 50% health increase over the 40% we have now, just so we can get more weapon drops. I feel like there needs to be more drops in Co-Op. Guns can sometimes rarely drop, which hurts when you get only a few useful items to split between 2 people. You earn the same amount of money, chests, and same drop rates, but with 2 people sharing resources, it's a huge issue. We have 2 players now, but resources are curated for 1 player. Everything scales pretty much perfectly to single player.but this isn't single player. Enemies are naturally more resilient (40% more health) than single player enemies, which is fine. I'll have 5-7 keys drop, a good handful of weapons, and always having 3-digit money counters. ![]() There's something extremely annoying about Co-Op and I find it to be due to the RNG nature of the game either exacerbating loot drop positives or loot drop negatives a lot more than single player.īasically, I can play solo and hit Forge guaranteed nearly every run. I'd have to say, I have roughly only 50-55 runs, with only about 5 of them not in Co-Op. ![]() The traditional position charge amplifier is placed on it, the signal is not easy to be interfered, and all high interference circuits are sealed, so that the signal can be transmitted for a long distance without affecting the signal quality, which is convenient to use. ![]() With the development of IC, a new sensor has been developed. The shortcomings of piezoelectric sensors are as follows: high output obstacles lead to increase of rise time low tuning frequency makes it impossible to achieve a good negative pressure curve signal conversion and processing are more complex, requiring high insulation of cables and joints electromagnetic waves generated in explosion environment are connected and debris and vibration of mounting bracket can easily cause signal deviation and affect test results. Even if the light film is attached to the back of the polished silicon chip to reduce light transmission, the strong light generated by the explosion can cause system failure and reduce the reliability of the system. The biggest disadvantage of piezoresistive sensor is that its silicon element is very sensitive to the light produced by explosion. At present, there are two kinds of shock wave sensors at home and abroad: piezoresistive sensor and piezoelectric sensor. ![]() The research on the overpressure and impulse of shock wave can provide an important reference for the comparison of the impact damage strength of weapon equipment. The shock wave storage test system is optimized when the parameters of the digital voltage circuit sensor are variable. Finally, experiments are carried out in different environments to verify the reliability, survivability, and flexibility. The influence of disk is 10% higher than that of pen, and the change rate of relative difference is increased by 1.5% with the increase of concave-convex value. The results show that, under the same inlet pressure, the larger the bulge or depression value, the greater the influence on the experimental results. Based on fluid dynamics simulation theory and numerical simulation method, the normal and concave-convex three-dimensional models of two pressure measuring devices are constructed by using the flow waveform of calculator, and then, the network is divided. This paper mainly studies the design of shock wave storage test system with variable parameters based on numerical piezoelectric circuit sensor. Shock wave data storage has the characteristics of large scale, complex structure, low cost efficiency, and strong timeliness. With the wide application of science and technology in the field of weapons, shock wave is an important breakthrough point in weapon research, and the storage and testing system of shock wave is a breakthrough point that people pay most attention to at present. ![]() They’re not terribly long on Switch, but not as fast as I would like given how many there are. Portal 2 has a LOT of loading screens, between almost every test chamber, and they really bog down the pace. It did take a few more trips to get the motion controls to feel just right, but once I did it felt like I had just as much range and precision as a mouse and keyboard – which is saying something because I’ve played both several times on PC.Īs close to perfection as these games are, they do have a few issues and by a few I mean two. I did find the default layout a little weird, with A being jump and X being interact, but a single trip to the menu sorted that out. In addition to including all released content such as the developer commentary, bonus levels, and ads and trailers, both games include optional motion aiming and full button remapping. So, if the games themselves have aged like fine wine, how do they play on Switch? Well, I’m glad you asked me, because it’s better than ever before on console! In single player, both games run at a flawless 60 frames per second, with 2’s co-op mode decreasing that to 30 if you’re both on the same system. Frankly, the fact that you get both for only $20 on the eShop makes this one of the best deals in gaming. Even after hearing these lines repeated ad nauseum over the years, experiencing them in context again feels just like the first time. ![]() The story and humor are likewise a huge step up, getting to “The Part Where He Kills You” never fails to get a laugh out of me, and even then, the first is still absolutely hilarious. Playing one after the other feels like a natural progression, emphasized by the sequel’s first few puzzles taking place in the same starting area as the original, though now in ruins. Portal 1 mostly has you moving yourself, cubes, and deadly turrets through portals but 2 ups the ante with lasers, light bridges, bouncy goo, and more. The puzzles increase in complexity as you go, especially in 2’s multiplayer, but that incredibly satisfying “aha!” moment is never too far around the next corner. One of the most common things you’ll be doing with portals is making speedy thing go in so speedy thing come out, for example setting up an infinite fall so you can gain momentum, then launching yourself by moving one of the portals somewhere else. It’s a very simple concept and only takes a few seconds to understand, but there are infinitely creative ways to use it so much so that I think even with two full games Valve has only scratched the surface. Simply shoot one color at a white surface then the opposing color at another and presto – you can walk through one and out the other. If you are somehow unfamiliar, Portal is a first person puzzle game in which you complete test chambers in the Aperture Science facility using a gun that allows you to connect two points in space. So, does Portal hold up? Or should the cake have remained a fabrication? It was a nice surprise then to see a collection of the two games release on Switch, especially seeing as Nintendo fans missed out on the originals. The impact Valve has made here can be felt throughout the entire game industry and some of the culture at large. Heck, you probably know the phrase “the cake is a lie” even if you’ve been living under a rock.
